Sandra Kacher is a native Minnesotan. Apart from compulsive traveling and a two-year stint teaching in Australia, she has been a happy resident of the Twin Cities. She spent her career as a psychotherapist (which has meant lots of intensive listening), and now that she has retired, she would like to be heard as a poet. Most of her poetry is written at her neighborhood Brueggers, so she is grateful to them for their generosity with their booths. She has been published in Dime Show Review, the Martin Lake Journal and We Were So Small. Home—searching for it, finding it, losing it and belonging to it—are favorite themes, and she is delighted to be a part of this anthology.
